After way too much thought and research I decided on purchasing the Canon G9 camera. As much as I wanted to invest in a new dSLR I had vivid flashbacks of lugging my steel Pentax K-1000 in 95 degree heat during my Semester at Sea trip 10 years ago. I originally ditched the Pentax for my first digital camera a tiny 3.3 MP Canon digital elph. My new Canon has a massive 12 MP sensor. Now I have to figure out how to save those high res images.
