We’re getting down to the home stretch before our journey begins. Next Monday we depart for Bangkok Thailand. While we’ve flown on long flights before nothing takes away from the fact that we’ll be spending 24 hours en route. Ultimately we’ll be settling into the first of many hotels over the next three months.
It’s hard to imagine that while it’s been cold and raining for 10 days straight in San Francisco that we’ll be in sunny (hopefully) and hot (no doubt) Thailand. After two years living in the temperate Bay Area I’m sure it’ll take some time to get used to the hot muggy weather of Southeast Asia.
I’m glad to say that our To-Do list is getting to a manageable length. It seems that whenever you think that you’ve gotten the list down there’s always something else to add. There is definitely something that overtakes soon to be travelers that compels them to consider buying ever little travel sized accessory and convertible piece of clothing on the market. I’ll really be glad once we actually get on the road since the preparation will finally end.
